MECO Welcomes Back Shelley Compton as Head of Operations
We are excited to announce that Shelley Compton has rejoined the MECO team as our Head of Operations, based in Mandeville, LA.
Shelley brings over 25 years of extensive experience in operations, engineering, and executive management across the defense, industrial, commercial, and service sectors. Her return to MECO follows her impactful tenure as Vice President of Quality, Engineering & Supply Management at Seemann Composites LLC. Shelley’s impressive career also includes leadership roles such as Vice President of Life Cycle Support and Vice President of Engineering at Textron Marine & Land Systems, as well as Vice President of Quality & Technical Services at MECO. Additionally, she has been a Co-owner and Partner at Hawk Industrial Services and has held key positions at American Airlines, Philips Electronics, and Texas Instruments.
With a deep commitment to continuous improvement, Shelley will drive excellence in our manufacturing operations and quality initiatives, ensuring that MECO remains at the forefront of innovation and customer satisfaction.
Shelley holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Dallas and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mississippi. Her professional credentials include certifications as a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), AS9100 and ISO9001 Lead Auditor, and Project Management Professional (PMP).
