MECO is seeking an intern for our IT Department at our Mandeville, LA facility. A two month summer Internship in the MECO IT department will provide an intern with the opportunity to gain knowledge of various IT operations and techniques used in an office environment. Candidates for this position should have at least one year completed in higher education and be willing to work along with professionals and gain exposure in an office setting.

The duties of an intern at MECO will include:

• Focus on IT security to load software, scanning devices and interpreting results
• Learning Device Management in a Windows server environment
• Produce and test IT procedures
• Inventory of hardware and software using tools to identify and document
• Learn PC imaging and roll out procedure
• Help Desk documentation and issue resolution
• Hardware and software implementation

Desired Skills:

• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Interest in working within a fast paced IT department
• Strong written and communication skills
• Ability to lift 40 lbs.
