We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for our Mandeville, LA facility. The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Engineer at MECO will include:

• Evaluating processes, workflows, equipment, and footprint for manufacturing, quality and EHS improvements while incorporating lean manufacturing principles.
• Finding solutions for complex manufacturing challenges, root cause analysis, and statistical process control.
• Reviewing drawings and BOM’s for accuracy/efficiency and incorporating into work orders and Manufacturing Operating Instructions.
• Creating / maintaining manufacturing standards, developing manufacturing labor estimates, and ensuring accurate labor budgets.
• Provide hands-on manufacturing and process support to multiple manufacturing departments.

Requirements:

BS degree in Engineering with Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering preferred

0-4 years’ experience in a manufacturing facility. Experience in a non-repetitive environment preferred.

Experience working within an ISO9001 quality management system. Familiarity with ASME code Section VIII and piping per ASME B31.1

CAD experience a plus

Self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a cross functional team environment.
