Machine Shop Sales Manager

Machine Shop Sales Manager needed sell CNC machine services. The position requires close coordination with the MECO Machine Shop Team and with customers. Regional travel is required. This position may be based at either our Sugar Land, TX or Covington, LA facility.

Responsibilities:
Prepare market analysis, competitive positions, sales forecast
Prepare and execute advertising and marketing plans
Work with Manufacturing Engineer and Machine Shop Foreman to develop proposal costs
Prepare and present proposals, follow-up with prospects
Identify new markets to increase sales and diversity
Participate in professional associations and other events to keep MECOs name in the forefront of the industry

Position Requirements:
BS in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years exp. selling CNC machine services, preferably to the Oil and Gas Industry

Minimum 1 year exp. in marketing analysis and sales forecasting

VTL Machinists (1 opening)

Require min. 5 yrs exp on CNC machine tools. Applicant must be able to produce production-machined parts to required close tolerance and be able to program, set up and inspect own work with minimal supervision.

TIG WELDER/FABRICATOR (2 openings)

Require minimum 5 yrs TIG welding on stainless steel piping. Must be GTAW qualified and have 5 yrs general fab exp.including reading drawings, BOMs and building.

All positions require a HS diploma or equivalent. Applicants must pass a mechanical aptitude test. Welding applicants must also pass a weld test.
